Wise mind is a DBT technique in which we refer to as walking the middle path. It is the inner wisdom that each of us have. We enter the state of wise mind when we properly integrate opposites (reasonable and emotional states of mind) and open to experiencing reality as it is. When we walk the middle path we avoid the two extremes "either-or" (reasonable mind/emotional mind) with "both-and." Usually, when we are at an extreme on either end of the continuum, we distort reality. Freedom comes in seeing things as they are and joy comes in experiencing things as they are. I am here to help you walk the middle path and enjoy life at your fullest potential.
